did I say I was great?

Today I am at once great and not great, but mostly the former. Turning to give David moral support before he went off to start his Spanish MA comps was pretty great. Accidentally erasing 1/2 of my blog template when I did so without realizing it was not very great. Figuring out how to fix it (over the space of only about 20 minutes... including remembering all the dorky little addenda which had accumulated over the last few weeks and recreating or re-finding html for same) was Truly Great. Not cussing THAT ENTIRE TIME was not exactly great, but certainly surprising, altho it all went very smoothly really and I figured everything out no problem because I AM SO GREAT! Too bad I'm so late with this html greatness - not like I'll ever catch up with the people who were at this stage 15 years ago... not that I'd want a computer-y job anyway. The only thing I couldn't quite remember was what frigging (oops) color I had originally used for my little gratitude list... I think I still don't have it right.

BTW Tracy it was thanks to my still having a dummy blog using this template that I could figure out about 2/3 of the stuff I had to replace. Creating that extra test-y blog was the best idea I (or almost anyone, except you know, the wheel person, or maybe the fire people, or possibly someone with NASA) ever had. It is veddy veddy helpful! (So is saving one's template to a notepad doc... :)
