two interesting things about me

one that will not surprise you, one that was a nice surprise for me...

1. It really bothers me when someone wants me to help put a bunch (35 to be exact) of binders together but fully 45 percent of the components are not yet ready, necessitating later cumbersome and time-wasting re-opening of binders for insertion of said components. (Yeah, those of you who were so infinitely helpful on binder detail two years ago should be proud --- our efficiency and practicality records are in no danger whatsoever of being outdone any time soon.) I seemed to be the only person thinking it might make more sense to continue work on the components and dig in on compiling again later in the week... See now, it's this kind of stuff that makes it really hard to believe that I am not, in fact, the only person who knows what's what and how to do pretty much anything in the whole universe. Which is why I still occasionally have difficulty, in fact, believing this.

2. I DON'T HAVE TO STAY IN THE DORM THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost compensates for the icky suit-purchasing foray yesterday. I found two by the way, and tho they look better on me than the ones I usually find, I still feel like I'm playing dress-up in them. Plus it's that kind of garb that really makes me realize I'm turning into Mom.

Eleven days to virtual sanity...
Quite shockingly refreshing.

'cept that Someone hinted today that I would be needed in the coming weeks for help with statistics-gathering-studying re: participant eval's of the program... Hmph. They'll have to find me first.

Yay no dorm! Wheeeeeeee!!!!!!!
Ick on the binders. It sounds so typical government job - let's do this thing (even if it can't be completely done!). I feel for you.

Should be a package for you today in the mail!!!!!!! Hope it is super fun and you like it!!!

did i know you were living in a dang dorm? or maybe you mean just for this conference period of suit-wearing. this all comes out as interestingly mysterious from those of us in the un-know.
