Meet Tully.

Pret-

ty
cool.

I'll write more later. I'm still vacillating between panic (partly from expense and partly post-partum weirdness re: Hal, whom I was incredibly sad to leave) and delight. I couldn't sleep last night I was so excited/freaked so I didn't hike today. Took my new car to the rec. center, and after my shower & coffee will run Hal's title to the Toyota dealership in Easley so that is done, and hit a the thrift store in Seneca which I never get to go to due to hikes (that's actually a fair trade-off but still it's nice to take advantage of it today, esp. as I can now trek around most anywhere without worries of breaking down every day! --That's the delight part, among other things.)

Disclaimer a few minutes later - in person he doesn't seem to be such a weirdly bulbous clone/modern version of Hal - looks more silver in real life despite these pix. I only just realized how similar they are tho. It was this or the dullish blue one - no way was I going to get white, red, cobalt or yellow... On the other hand so much the better if he looks a lot like his predecessor! Who better to emulate?!

It looks great Susan! I can't wait to ride in it and listen to music.

Oh wow!!! Congrats! Believe me, I know how sad it is to leave a faithful automotive companion, but the sadness will pass. How cool!

Welcome to the club. I've had Charis the Yaris since May 07.... never been happier.... 36-38 in the city. Easy to drive, easy to park.

it's too bad the hybrid T is not affordable. what is more stupid than that (not consumer-level; they are not avail and are TOO EXPENSIVE)
