kitpix for the holiday

It's been a while since you've seen Sam & Lucy, so here are some recent shots. BTW Griz (one of the outside stray porch dining cats) has been missing for about 4 days now. I'm afraid he might have got hit on the road or is in a hole dying from his most recent fight. (Gah!!! Crap college kids deserting poor pets. They don't have the right to have animals.)

Anyway these faces will distract us from outdoor feline plights for a few minutes hopefully.

Sam's paper fort night before going to the recycling center (me, not him)...

Why it took me so long to grade my final exams last semester...

Periodic dishwasher inspection...

What the porch diners have been up to... (these were taken before the recent cold snap of course)...

Tiger's still around, and looking pretty good depending on the day and how recent his latest fight was...

Crazy TC...

TC lost her chance at the Kelly Halfway House; she was determined to convince us she wasn't tame enough after all. It worked. Kelly now has beautiful Bella slash Sophie, which is probably best for everyone :) TC's holding her own altho she is licking all the hair off her legs again, something she only did in the summer last year, not winter. Hmph.

I'm not sure I've ever posted a pic of Bobby Goren... he was missing the first week or so I was back from MD and then turned up so hopefully that bodes well for Griz...

Sammers is a bit more tolerant of the porch cats than The Lubadoo is. Lucy especially has issues with almost everyone but TC and jumps at the sliding glass door to attack one of them every few days, just to remind them that she is not OK with their patronage. If Sam happens to see Griz approaching the porch at nighttime from the bedroom window for some reason he runs pell-mell for the back door and about half the time will half-heartedly jump at Griz through the glass. Once he's had a leap or two, he doesn't really seem to care who is there anymore. (Altho both of them were pretty excited about the opossum that was on the porch last night - gotta love feline alerts - I shooed him off, poor thing. He did not look like he was long for this world, but I draw the line at Truly wild critters.)

When they're not busy with outdoor friends or sleeping they help with sheet-changing.

Of course I had just congratulated myself on getting Sam out of the way...

In case anyone was wondering whether The Boo still has a taste for Strings...

Well here's some good thoughts for the Griz making a return - honestly hope he's okay. You do realize you are about two degrees from being declared an official 'Cat Lady'!
You gotta big heart girl, damn cats are lucky to have you in da hood.

I know - it's getting pretty crazy here - at least I'm not eating kibble my own self ... yet :) Griz is back now and weirdly tame all of a sudden - I'm hoping to catch him to take him to the vet to get his shots one of these days and a general checkover just to give him a better chance against the elements - he seems already to be fixed - vet says they'll give me a discount for a stray... we'll see...

Bobby's cute. I'm glad to have faces to put to names now! And I'm very happy to see Lucy hasn't lost her love of strings.

Bobby and Tiger have both been absent now for a week or more - Griz is back tho...
