High school friend is running for State Representative in our home state and sent msgs on Facebook for friends to donate.

Staunch Republican.

I wished him luck instead, but this is why the post: (from his letter)

"... I will use all financial support for my campaign and be as conservative as possible with your donations." (my italics)

Um, kinda goes without saying, no?
