Great video and the garbage container rocks! Was that Nescafe instant coffee??? tell me I'm wrong, please. Where's the French Press?? ... and don't think I didn't notice the bottle of wine that you failed to mention.
The photos of your view are just really amazing - love it. What a great scene to wake up to to. I hope you will enjoy your stay there and keep posting updates.
If any of your students are in need of a video idea for your assignment you can ask them to interview Jim Morrison over at Père Lachaise. I have several scripts in mind that would be interesting. Tell Jimbo I miss him, very much.
Guillaume! for a second I was trying to think of who Jimbo is b/c I actually know a Jim here so I thought, do they know each other and I've forgotten? nyernt nyernt - we might need a multiple-reality app for the flip camera in order to interview the Jimbo you meant... something that helps the Flip pickup images in the ether... :) no French press, er rather there is but I don't use it - I love the coffee from them actually but they're such a pain to clean - I've been using my coffee maker - it's doing quite nicely :) the French coffee makes a big difference - even the cheapest coffee in my corner grocery is TREMENDOUS and it's always the super fine grind b/c they assume everyone is going to make coffee that actually has flavor rather than just brown water like in the US :) where you have to pay extra for nice coffee. think I'll go have some more actually... :)
ps yes that was Nescafé but honestly even the instant here is good - lots more people use it at home than you'd think - I used it the first morning just cause I was so pooped and didn't have the energy to dig out the machine yet - most of that food and stuff belongs to the landlord but they said to help myself - she's quite capricious tho so I plan on replenishing anything I've used. good eye Bill!
