if I had some relationship-y person around all the time I probably wouldn't be able to stand in the kitchen at 1h17 a.m. eating improvised Monte Cristo sandwiches made with leftover pancakes, sliced turkey, colby and marmalade...
Altho actually that might be a good litmus test - anyone up for that would definitely be a keeper.

I have to say I love Monte Cristos but that's a first. Yes, a good test of loyalty--"How do you feel about egg-covered pancakes after midnight?"
Michelle I'm so excited - usually people don't know what I'm talking about with those - I worked as a waitress all thru college and we had this rather decadent french toast for sunday brunch at the restaurant and the cooks would always make extra so we could all have monte cristo's in the kitchen - they are so so so yummy!!!!!!! :)
hmm, i may not have eaten such a thing, but i do make up weird foods at all hours. my roommate is fine with any of that. if anything, i'm the one who gets cranky at others' kitchen use.
i finally have a waffle maker. . .have any good recipes?
Well, I am usually sleeping at said time, but Harland and I do eat breakfast for dinner, and last sunday morning at 8am I had a craving for Korean food so we ate kimchi, radish kimchi, green onion pancake and rice for breakfast.
A good relation-y person knows when to join in.
you are all making me terribly hungy... good thing we're having fondue at John's tonight so I can stuff myself - plus I'm making chocolate-peppermint meringues to take with....
