It's not the soup's fault

Bad things in the last 2 days:

• Hal breakdown on I-26 south of Columbia
• renting a car to get home
• leaving Hal in Columbia for repairs
• looking at an expenditure of $1000 between rental, repair and parts (if the parts arrive tomorrow or Weds. that is, otherwise more) and an extra trip to Columbia in the middle of finals week

Good things in the last 2 days:

• leftover pumpkin & potato soup

Those of you who are owed emails/phone calls... Sorry but I plan to spend the rest of the week ½ working, ½ wallowing.
