Separated at birth?

When fellow former Aub*rnite Lara posted this fun yoga article on FB last week I knew there was something about Neal Pollack...

The last few days as I grade at home I've been half-watching Netflix Instant Watch. I was delighted to find that two more seasons of "Wire in the Blood" had made it to DVD and have been immersed in Robson Green and his cohorts.

Holy Doppelgänger, Batman...*

Of course I'm partial to Robson (right), tho...

*nb: I have not the slightest inkling why a big space persists up there and I'm too pooped to play with the html anymore; it only appears after publishing, not in the preview [usually blogger weirdnesses happen vice versa] I hope it's just Mac funkiness - many posts have looked a little idiosyncratic on here even tho I'm using Firefox... Alas, 'tis a mystery for another day...

Apologies Susan. The numbered list I referenced in the original post kept changing and the original story is no longer there so I deleted the post because it just didn't make sense without seeing the article. Anyway, here is the first part of my original comment:

OK, like I don't know who Robson Greene is but the article was really good, so thank you for the link. The great thing about yoga (from a guy's perspective) is that it teaches you humility. Nothing like falling flat on your butt in a room full of women old enough to be your grandmother (and they are ALL standing).

wait a minute! dang you're deleting lots of stuff now - just say to yourself: there are no regrets on Blogger! (kind of like "there's no crying in baseball" but without Tom Hanks and Madonna) I actually looked on here really quick at one point last night after your first deletion and now I see I should have taken the time to comment but honestly Bill I was having an awful night and was kind of turning around (figuratively) in circles trying to decide what task to dig in on next... anyway this was all in response to your deletions... now I guess I'll read the comment which -finally- must have passed muster :)

gender notwithstanding, yoga is great at teaching everyone humility, and fulfillment, too, at the same time - not many things we can say that about. Robson Green is almost as good as yoga, if yoga were a working man's British character actor and star of "Wire in the Blood," a solidly good (if gruesome) Brit TV series based on even better books by one of my fave mystery writers: Val McDermid. :)

ps I understand now why you deleted - stupid websites - don't they know they shouldn't change important things like numbering once they're posted? geez it's like they think they exist in a vacuum... hellOO-oo! once sth is posted online it is fair and almost obligatory game for comments and linkage and various other forms of virtual jibberjabber - don't change your fricking numbering once it's there for crying out loud! (OK full disclosure: I'm on my second glass of cabernet tonight... :) making up for last night where work precluded imbibement. (In English do we usually say "when" there instead of "where"? This is my most recent example of French bleeding into my head so far that I no longer know which language needs what pronoun...)

You are absolutely right - no more deletes! Promise. Even if the post does not make sense. Although now you'll never know the meaning of the "half-mile high club" reference, and the word verification for the post was 'sicksh' (this thing can't read your mind can it?)! You might actually be glad I deleted all that stuff. Then again, you are the author of the infamous 'Boner Forever' blog ('Not for kids' ... indeed).

that still makes me giggle - they've since cleaned it off, which I find surprisingly sad.

Bill a dit…

I know Susan, it's hard to believe.

Susan a dit…

lol the fact that they cleaned it off or the fact that it made me sad?

Bill a dit…

Maybe both :)
