advice to Coca-Cola lovers

Besides the fact that it's near-sacrilege to spoof one of my favorite childhood commercials, the new Coke Zero ads on hulu are just plain asinine. And yes, I do realize that is what they were trying for - they just overshot the mark. There's smart stupid and stupid stupid, and these ads are clearly in the latter category.

Even stupider is how the Coke company thinks Coke Classic tastes OK with corn syrup in it (so of course it would be quite difficult to tell it from Coke zero like in the other spoof ad of the blind taste test since they both taste crappy).

They still use sugar in their Coke Classic in France, so every time you want a real Coke like when we were little enough to watch the Mean Joe Green commercial, put that money in a jar and buy yourselves a ticket to Paris next summer. I'll buy you all a non-corn syrup Coke at Café de Notre-Dame (but only one before I get you hooked on panachés).
